Bull-fucking-shit. Have you ever seen "It Might Get Loud"? Have you ever seen ANY interview with the White Stripes? Jack White raves about much he loves the blues all the time. In "It Might Get Loud" he talks about hearing a Son House record for the first time as a teenager, and about how his entire goal was to try to be a bluesman. He has NEVER tried to take credit for Death Letter. The album it is on (De Stijl) is even dedicated to Son House and Blind Willie McTell.
