  • @cieren1995 LOL there are a few better than him. Don't get too excited.

  • England best player ever!!!

  • i totally agree with the commentator

  • @shomba14 he was*

  • @don145arsenal I think he is

  • @cieren1995 he is hands down, NOT

  • Gerrard is the best midfielder in Premier Leauge!

  • @thaN0s1993 Gerrard vs Olympiakos and West Ham United.

Not to mention the importance of those goals. 90th minute vs West Ham making it 3-3, going on to win in penalty shoot out.

Needing that extra goal against Olympiakos to go through the group stages of Champions League in 04, going on to win the competition.

  • Lampard is quality, there's no doubt about that.

    Gerrard is just better.

    As Smithy said so himself.

He can defend, he can attack, my god he can strike a ball, his passing range is better, he can head, he's far more agile than Frank, there's no one better at motivating a team, whether its Liverpool or England, than Stevie, he's a fantastic leader and role model.

Taking nothing away from Lampard though.
