  • @cloudgirl150 Yeah ...but dude, being over confident wusses might be worse....

  • Dude seriously, if we didn't have some confidence in us we'd all be self-conscious wusses...

  • I was referred to this video by my Psychology 101 professor, and I completely agree with the points in this video. But I have a question to the viewers of this video. Did Generations X and Y BOTH become "Generation Me"? I'm 26 years old, and don't see myself as over-confident, but I'm a part of Gen X.

  • The point expressed in the video make sense. I believe that this issue is just a part of our evolution as humans. The term emotional intelligence is a fairly new concept. At some point emotional intelligence courses will become more and more main stream in education. Until then, I think it's a great idea to introduce topics like this through course assignments. An effective channel to build awareness.

  • ........ just goes to show that keepin' it real does more good than you think. =|

  • Hmm.. I think it started with extreme consumerism and all those shows where not so great talents are praised

  • She used the phrase "Empty praise" and talked about everybody getting a trophy..... no matter how lousy the team was. The older generation are actually the ones who ruined these kids. She makes a lot of sense.

  • SO TRUE! It all started with the "self esteem" movement.

  • world health news you spelled confident wrong, you also covered a psychologist who spells wrong as well

  • if was not over confidant I wouldnt do what I'm doing right now... you cant be afraid of mistakes and therefor, fear is your biggest enemy
