Well if protective orders don't work then why the fuck are you complaining about them, huh? You want to shut down an organization that could save the lives of many women who ARE in abusive situations. Heartless fucktards! This is nothing but men trying to put their foot down and relinquish control once again. And of course their traditional mothers tote along by their side.

We need a program implemented that show hoe domestic violence is not tolerated. And women need to be safe!

By the way. Guns being in the home present a danger to the family. I could provide a list of women and children, and even men who have been killed in arguments and domestic shootings. Why anyone would be against gun control in this respect is beyond me.

If guns were not kept in homes in colonial America, there would have been no American Revolution. Cars kill people too. Should we ban all cars? You would have liked Nazi Germany. They took all the guns too.

VAWA promotes false allegations of domestic violence, which was already punishable under criminal assault statutes in all 50 states prior to VAWA, therefore VAWA is bogus, unnecessary legislation. Restraining orders are handed out like candy due to DV hysteria in our male-bashing society and used as a wedge in custody cases to drive fathers out of their kids' lives. How heartless is that? Check your facts on DV at the above link for RADAR. Men and women commit dv in nearly equal amounts.

I'm not going to say anything else other than this. Apparently you have nothing against domestic violence. Yeah, there were laws instated before VAWA, but those laws obviously weren't enough. Womn had nowhere to go, and police did not give a shit. There was a case where a police officer actually shot his wife in the face while they were arguing over household chores! His buddies protected him, and held up the ambulance from leaving because they were trying to cover things up. Nice, huh.
