This video was shot during the Endurance Race at the South Dakota SAE West competition. Surprisingly enough, this car finished in the top ten with nothing more than a scratched frame and a bent a-arm.
I was in the post endurance race tech inspection of the top 10 cars and talked to the guy who rolled it. He said it only had scratched paint and a bent arm. And they still finished top 10.
I was at the bottom of the hill and saw it happen. They checked the frame and then took off with no problems. Also you can't see but the fire extinguisher went flying also.
HAHAA, nice roll Ryan! Who was driving? That's an LU built car for sure!

yeah im on the letu team
the frame was still fine
we taped the fire extinguisher back on
the driver was so amped on adrenalin he was yelling at the frame checker to hurry up cause he was losing position.
he was ok just a little sore the nest morning
we still have that frames and it has rolled 20 times over the years and still no cracks
last year we ran a rear supported frame and took 2nd in Acc, 4th in endurance, and 3rd over all
hope to see yall out on the track
