www.GlobalWealthProducers.com [cell: 310-902-7645] Anna Maria Alongi documents a donation of whole blood at a mobile site in El Segundo, CA. A member of the ONE GALLON CLUB Anna Maria has been giving blood for 25 years. It's easy, mild discomfort, loads of satisfaction. Giving of yourself in such a personal way to people you will never meet is a great feeling. It's charity to the core.

  • i hated needles. But i grew a pair and donated blood anyways

  • @xXDangerRoseXx It will always hurt a bit to have a needle shoved into you, but it's not much worse than a shot. Not to mention the fact that you might be helping to save someones life. Isn't that worth it?

  • I just donated blood at my school for the first time.

  • I'm donating on March 20th and I am so very excited! It will be my first time ever donating. It's a school envolved thing. I'm a junior in high school (:

  • @clubindiana4 It's old, and outdated but I wouldn't let it defer you from saving innocent lives.

  • That is fricken crazy!! Doesn't the needle hurt? I want to give blood but i am freaked out by needles!!!! Any advice?

  • I just got a blood transfusion yesterday after losing too much blood from ulcerative colitis. I feel so great after it, I can walk around and I feel like a new person. Thank you so much to to O-negative person who took the time to donate their blood, I am thinking about you all the time.

  • @patrickplsxo actually it is only 3% of the population now. very very few!

  • nothing against this lady it is good that she gives but it only take about a year and a half to reach one gallon. at 25 years of regular donating it should be about 20 gallons!!

  • @clubindiana4 as a red cross employe let me clarify some things.

    1) the rule in place that does not allow gay men to donate is by the FDA not the red cross. it is implemented by all blood banks.

    2) a person who has sex with a HIV positive person is not allowed to donate plain and simple.

    3) the red cross holds blood drives so that gay people can bring their friends to donate and sign petitions to overturn the law.

    4) after receiving HIV it may take up to 2 weeks before results show positive

  • it takes a lot of guts to donate blood,i could never do it.
