Toe-tapping instrumental from Bill Black's Combo. I recall playing this all the time when I used to run a disco every week at Walsall Wood Labour Club in the early seventies. It always filled the dance floor in seconds. Used to play it also at the Railway Tavern in Brownhills, where I did another regular weekly soul disco. Where have the years gone?

  • OMG !! I was just 5 years old in 1961 !! but I remember the birthday party of my best friend, and dancing twist whit this huge music tune , " My girl Josephine ", here in Chile - South America !! thanks a lot !!

  • Yes!... Congratulations! I liked too much to hear the original recording of "My Girl Josephine". The CD version is different... its piano is "bashful". If it was stereofonic would be marvellows... This recording is worthy. Thank you for the audition.
