Is there a way to do this for something smaller (like a scarf) if you don't have a steamer or iron? I also don't have an iron.

@Tazzie1312 I answered this in previous posts. Dampen it and roll it in a towel. lay it out flat and pin it in place. allow to dry.

Is there another way to block afghans? I'm working on my first large blanket and its going to 6-8 feet. I dont have a steamer or anywhere large enough to pin it down

@Eldunari98 You can dampen it and lay it out flat to dry on a large table or on your bed. See the video called 'Prairie Star afghan finishing and blocking.'

@ashenzues Blocking makes the finished piece lay flat, be in the right shape and for acrylic yarn the steam softens the yarn.
