Very sadly ............ .our favorite Poet James McKenna Gill has passed away, peacefully in his sleep ..

Many people have been titled Glasgow Celtics number 1 fan ......... but this accolade , in my opinion must go to the late james Gill ........ A true Tim of the highest order ...

Born and raised in Forbes Street in Mile End , home of Glasgow Celtic .......

james was noted for his Glesga wit, and his volumes of verse and poetry ....... covering many heartfelt subjects .

He was also a lover of nature , and was a very keen conservationist .......

And may I add a real life hero ,...... saving the lives of all the residents of a homeless womens hostel in Birmingham , during a fire in which the building was raized to the ground .
Well known and loved in Birmingham ...... working and living in the city for most of his adult life ..

Lets hope God lets ye have a puff .. and a swig of Bucky and has every live Celtic match ......... and if he is looking for a good welfare rights officer ......... look no further ......

James McKenna Gill ... Rest in Peace . James McKenna Gill recites his poem ' Ibrox 71' ......... in memory of those who perished whilst watching their beloved football club... Glasgow Rangers FC ..
playing their life long rival Glasgow Celtic FC on January 2nd 1971..... Gone but not forgotten ..................... R.I.P
