@Rlh1994 We have a slightly different system here in germany. I don't know If you get money in the UK but in Germany the red cross pays for blood donations. We thought about donating blood to raise money for our graduation ball. I thought it was a good Idear but the jerks of my class didn't get it...some people are ignorant.

@Sleepover137 Here in the UK we don't get any money for it, hence why not as many people do it. That was a really good idea! Get money for a cool thing, by doing a good deed!

@Rlh1994 We got many rules on that so it is a bit complicated but not too bad. You could also donate plasma for which you will get much more money.

But it takes longer I think. Blood donating takes about thirty minitues while plasma can take up to 2 hour I think. The red cross also got tents which they place in public areas to make the people aware that you can donate blood. So you can go there spontaneous if you come across one and don't have the "work" to figure out where the next station is.
