I was born in Ba, and left Fiji many moons ago.
I had never been to Navala but have heard exiciting stories from my dad about this Catholic village.
As a kid I would see the dusty old buses come to town from Navala as many would bring their produce to sell at the produce markets in Ba.
It is exactly as I pictured it- remote , neat and green.
Lets hope that it remains unspoilt.

Thank you so much for bringing back some of my fondest memories. I was this exact village back in 2001. we stayed 10 days and it was amazing. It looks a bit bigger now, but you have really captured the feeling of utter peace and happiness that is all around. Thanks again. Matt
