why are you using a tool to remove the pointers that way?
That will mark up the faceplate.

if you are just removing cluster and installing new one you dont need to mark the needles part rite?

We use a plastic needle removal tool that will not mark the gauge face. Also the stock gauge face is removed and not used. And for the other post. No u will not need to mark needle positions.
