This has to be one of the strangest, most awful, yet weirdly appealing songs I've ever heard. "That's All I Want From You," also known as "Chi Wa Wa," by Bob Silva and the Silva-Tones. On the 1957 Billboard's Top 100 list. I can't help but wonder if he ever got those adenoids taken care of...
Still have my argo recording of this. Love both sides, the flip being Roses Are Blooming. Ah, those teenage years, so long ago.

I haven't heard this song since probably '57, it just popped into my head today, and I thought--YOUTUBE and here it is. Could you have imagined this in '57 I ask ya'?

This song was way ahead of its time, with all that electronic instrumentation and echo chamber effect in the background, plus great vocal harmonies. Way before Phil Spector and his "Wall of Sound." Wow! Great to hear this old forgotten song again. I can't help playing it over and over again.

I have this on Argo 5281 but with no mention of Bob Silva.

I've found 3 copies of the 45 over the years. No matter how good the record looked every one of them was noisy. Probably due to use of crappy materials. So nice to hear it without all the "static."

Thank you for posting this great record! I remember the original from Philadelphia area, but never thought I'd hear it again -- and here it is!

First time I heard this, was like "What is this?" But yes, it sure did make Billboard's national pop charts in 1957, on the Argo label.

I've been searching for this song, forever. I could not think who recorded It. came to mind again a week or so ago, and I'm so glad you posted it. If you like this song by the Silva Tones, you should like "roses are blooming" by them, another favorite. thanks
