i am getting one sent over from the states, will it work ok in the uk??

Sure will work in UK, but if you have the Uniden Excell Elite then its not the same as the JFK II is not available in the USA and has different banding. The USA version maybe only 26965-27405 AM if my memory is ok

Price Range, normal 249-299euro and the modded version 299-349euro

The radio is well made, the buttons are solid and indeed there is so many improvements to the last series of the radio. All new inside, all new software and the smallest of smd technology. The feel is good, the insides are so clean you can have your dinner off it. Now more tests come but the small tests its within the limits of audio and power, and most of ALL THE AUDIO ON FM you cannot imagine. Same mike as the Jacko II but so much better it is beyond belief
