I went to basic training with SPC Steffey. To the family I'm am very sorry for your loss. He was a great soldier and will be greatly missed. To SPC Steffey, rest brother, we will take it from here.

He was a good guy. A lot of us still haven't gotten over the anger of that day. Sorry we didn't catch the trigger-man.

He was a very true hero...we all miss him....we love him...we wish we could see him once more.. ....R.I.P Brandon K. Steffey..and all of the other fallen troops that we have lost....we miss the all....but to have someone who grew up in our hometown knowing him through our lives this is a truly tragic loss.....Thank You Brandon K Steffey for keeping us free!

Rest In Peace Brandon K. Steffey . I go to Sault Area Middle School, and we watched the memorial drive by.. He is my hero . He will and cannot be forgotten .
