(music is: Cry Me A River by Justin Timberlake)
This is my take of the recent interviews that Steve Ott did postgame (v. SJ 3/15/11) and on NHL Live on 3/16/11. The postgame interview is in full and unedited (background music added). The NHL Live Interview (I used excerpts) was irritating because they kept showing the same video of Murray's hits and Heatley's hit. What they needed to do is was show Ott's more egregious during his little tirade. Steve Ott doing what he does well, being a cry baby weasel, all his whining paid off and Dany Heatley got a 2 game suspension. Heatley has emphatically stated that he hit Ott's chest and not his head. And Ott? He played the 3/17/11 game v. Chicago and got a goal. Didn't look like he had head trauma. We'll see if Ott has really changed his ways, or if the NHL should be giving him an award for his acting skills.
