  • @chase312 whenever I check if its in my area it says not available. I hope you are right about my neighborhood already ready for fiber.

  • @JWiLLfoReaL If you have DSL with ATT I'm 99% sure that your area has been converted to fiber. Uverse requires additional hardware to be installed after the fiber lines are there, so it will only be a matter of time before you have Uverse

  • @chase312 u verse not in my area yet. All we have is cable internet and dsl, which i have att elite dsl. I hate the fact that with cable internet you have to share bandwidth with neighbors and it affects internet speed at peak hours at times when a whole lot of people are on downloading things.

  • The transition from copper cable to fiber optics has revolutionized the telephone/television/data industry. I have AT&T Uverse, and have ungodly amounts of bandwidth, perfect call quality [VOIP], and incredible TV service, all over one little fiber cable.
