My iguana, Reptar, lovess my cat, Pippa.
(He is much older than this guy here, tho.)
Pippa will join Reptar under his heating lamp and than he will climb on top of her. It's the funniest/cutest thing. Plus, they follow each other around the house. All of my friends are completely amazed by their relationship.
If you work with your cats and your iguana they could get along nicely!

@supersanchez1991 I don't have one personally, but from what I've read they do need a uv light [vital for digestion], if they're tame they're not aggressive, and as far as easy to take care of.... not 100% sure.
Cost, for a baby [around here, local pet store] is like $20-70 or so.

@supersanchez1991 I got mine from a local breeder at swap-meet and range 20-50 bucks heat of course, no heat pads or they will burn they dont feel heat in their stomachs, handling minimal and introduce them with other iguanas early, no female with to males the males alone will do just fine, yes they are easy to take care of and dont listen to those people saying they are for experienced reptile keepers they make great pets, my iguana(betty) was my first reptile ever, sorry for so many answers

My iguana is as big as yours, but you should not give it cat food, it will damage it's kidneys. Iguanas are vegetarians and the protein on the cat food is bad for them
