To Date I haven't recorded my Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute in Natural Finish before so here are 2 drum solos, one with coated Evans G1 drum heads on the toms, the other with clear Evans G1 drum heads on. There is an Aqurian Super-Kick 1 on the bass drum and a coated remo Ambassador on the snare drum. A few Flam type licks and 1 or 2 Dave Weckl/Steve Gadd kind of licks! Thanks for watching. • Hey man, real nice sound you got there. Just a quick question, i've put some coated remo emperors on my kit recently and they sound fairly dead. What sort of tuning have you got for the coated heads in this video? (For the batter AND resonant)

Any help would be highly appreciated, cheers!

  • Far out man, you are awesome. Your drumming is brilliant!

  • By the way... any tuning tip on the snare? Thanks!
