As Peter sings, "like a journalist, the way they cut and paste and twist... you're AWFUL". I notice lately when he sings that song, he's adding in the word 'tabloid' before journalist. Being the nice guy he is, he probably doesn't want to offend the few good ones he has met along the way. The vultures are too busy waiting and watching for him to screw up to notice and enjoy his brilliance. Their loss.
