  • Could this weld two rather thick (0.25 inch) steel tubes together without compromising the inside shape?

  • @jcole60brit I don't know, it would get really hot and maybe warp. That's really thick for this process.

  • Hey guys quick question need answers fast.

if i were to buy a torch that uses Acetylene Oxygen would i be able to weld together two steel pipes that could sustain 200 pounds of pressure? im building a chair and im new to welding

  • @harryanderson1991 and why would you be telling me this, i can weld! all im saying is i didn't learn it in the book i learnd to weld in my workshop with a welder in my hand. if you dont belive me, i'm willing to send you pics and videos of stuff that i made.

  • cold weld... preheat were there is to be weld metal, make sure base metal surface is liquifying before adding filler, this will insure a perfect weld, making a good fusion of filler and base metal as one, how ever a cold weld is when you add the filler before the surface fo the base metal liquifies when adding the filler it will appear to be welded, when over time, it will slip of the base metal do to lack of fusion...

  • Wow that a big nuetral flame!
