No one can legitimatly make fun of the canadian military once they have done some research and know what they are talking about, respect to all respectful men and women in uniform.
@CFAirborneJunior well mainly because they had no reason too. The US, even if they weren't attacked by the japenese, probaly would have steped in after things got ugly, like they normally do, its just the way we are lol. but if there was no motive to declare war, then the weren't going to. america had pretty much just gotten out of the great depression, so war wasn't exactly something that was going to be a good asset to their economy, but especially in that state.
@socomkid88 but what would of helped make the war shorter was operation market garden, which you probably knew that was the purpose, but Patton should of led the op and not Montgomery, but the only thing that I want to find out is why the US didnt declare war when everyone else did.
@CFAirborneJunior dude its pretty much known that without the US, France wouldn't even be here today, they would have been destroyed by the nazi's. given that the United States allied with other countries, but they were the most powerful force against them overall in ww2, and when people say that the US just randomly attacks countries ( not saying that you did) this just proves them wrong, we were attacked first before we entered the war
@socomkid88 I gotta agree, but army size has nothing to do with who does the most in war. This part is for everyone from my mouth "I don't care who did the most in a war, just aslong as the country and its allies do there share." And in WW2, the US didnt want anything to do with the war, and Hitler knew that after America declared was it was almost the end. but japan bombed the US because they didnt have enought oil to last.
@socomkid88 xD very true. Either way both of our military's play a big part in the world and we should support both for the sacrifice and dedication they make
