  • @MrMachacker on air with the fan at 100% well playing a game with an Overclocked gtx 295 80c is pretty good once you start hitting 99-105c then you should worry

  • yes i have the XFX GTX 295 and it did not allow me to use the EVGA tool without a registration.

i used MSI Afterburner though and i worked great too.

One more question, After overclocking, my card operates on about 80 degrees C. on full load (for example; GTA IV)

    is this normal?

  • @CamRaiD My GTX295 didn't come from EVGA, but after watching this video I wanted their precision overclocking software. So I went to download it from the website of course, when it asked me to register, all it wanted was for me to create an account with a username and password, so no you don't have to provide them with a serial number proving that you purchased the card from them. And it works great!

  • Hey mate, i happen to have a XFX version of the gtx295, i noticed that EVGA only allow the download of their software if you register with them. I presume this includes stating a serial number which I of course don't have :/

Also, It says you need the forceware 96.xx drivers... I use 3d Vision....A different card driver..... Will this work together ?
