The Metronomes - Pennies From Heaven ***RARE DOO WOP***

This has got to be my all time favorite version of Pennies From Heaven. Next would be The Clovers' version, another rare one that's not on youtube. Not crazy about the Skyliners' version, or Billie Holiday's or Louie Primas for that matter.

My favorite part of the song is at 1:42-1:46 where they each take turns saying "every time" and then join in harmony, then do it again at 1:51-1:54 saying "don't you know". Killer!

You saw it here on my channel first! I've been holding back on some obscure doo wop and this year I will post some rare sounds that have never before been published on youtube.

For me it's all about black vocal harmonies. Stay tuned.
