@ScaryCannibalTrout1 I have that episode of HGTV's America's Ugliest Kitchen and that "Velvet-Zig-Zig" kitchen was the freakiest room I have ever seen! The rotary phone and intercom plastered on the zig-zag wallpaper, the mirrors on the refrigerator and back wall, the shag carpet, the black diagonal design on the cabinets and wall, the faux brick backsplash, the pink chairs, and yes, the dirty, grimy red VELVET on the cabinets, the dishwasher, and the stove hood! I may post that episode soon!

The purple reminds me of the show they had on HGTV called Ugly Kitchens. And there was this one that had purple and pink pinstripe-zigzag wall paper, a greasy disco ball, purple shag carpeting, and velvet- yes velvet covering every surface except the counter and stove tops themselves. Even the hood above the stove was covered in velvet. Unbelievable and disgusting.
