they dock pembrokes tails so they are more uniform.pems can be born anywhere from naturally docked to a full tail(also makes them easier to tell apart from cardigans)

The ears are not docked jeeesus!!!They are just so young that they aren't up yet. Our Pembroke was almost 5 months before both his ears was up AND pembrokes can be born without tail, a half tail or long tail. In Denmark we don't dock the tails. it's not legal, but in the old days it was neccessary for the working herding dogs otherwise they would get hurt with their long tails...

lol corgis look so much more proportionate when they're puppies than when they're older!

besides docking tails, many corgis (and dogs in general) come with short tail, or no tail AT ALL - so think twice before you start bitching around!

They're Pembroke Tricolor corgis. They're not rare, and many Pembroke puppies start with their ears down, and they'll perk up as they get older.
