On this 200 day of the ride, we say to the Queen of Thailand, give back the land of the Akha people.
Used to be Apache and Commanche country but you won't find any Indians here, nor anyone who cares that they are not here, or what became of them and all the buffalo that got slaughtered as if that did not matter either. A bit sad.
The downtown, fittingly has a courthouse without windows done in what is called "brutal gothic" architecture, a statue of the white buffalo that Mr. Mooar shot. A rare buffalo, once again, don't capture it, don't leave it be, shoot it. That will work. People are friendly, the town has done a bit better at surviving but still many empty buildings. The oil boom is over.

Yes, I know what you mean about snyder Texas. I live their. It is complety sicking on how they starved out the Indians by killing all of the buffalo, each year Snyder has a festival celebrating the kill of the great white buffalo. It is called the great white buffalo festival. I my self dont see why they are having a festivall for the apauling cruelity that they did to the indians and the buffalo, They should be hanging their heads down low and asking for forgiveness not celibrating.
