1962 Dodge Dart Polara Lancer Dealer Promo Part 1

Where do you begin with the 62 Dodges? The unsual styling? The size change compared to GM and Ford? The sales losses over previous years? The fact that it is so ugly that it's cool looking? This was a dealer promo to uplift the Dodge Dealers with their new products for 1962. It's sort of takes the attitude, stylinig is a question of taste so shut up and sell them. They actually compare this styling of this car to the classic Auburns of the 30's. Chrysler's design head, Virgil Exner Disavowed this as one of his designs. It also lost him his job from Chrysler.
