  • Alan lived with RGD for a year & really has the music, variations, & fingering just has the Rev played it. I haven't studied with Alan for a few years now but I posted everything I recorded. I tried to get him to record without success. He is a very talented player,

  • I did a little research and found references to Alan being a student of the Reverend. What a treasure that would have been and thank you so much for posting Alan's music. He actually has recorded in a way, I've converted his videos to mp3s and already put them on ipod. MAYBE after a few more dozen views, I'll post a video response (would be my first) as a show of appreciation.

  • Hands down, this is the more accurate video of Cocaine Blues on YT, great job. I've been working this the Ernie Hawkins / RGD DVD for a few months now, Ernie does a great job of laying down the basic framework of the song, but your video is the first I've seen that does justice to the variations . Nice Gibson, would love to hear you play a J200.

  • niceee!

  • Where is this guy hiding?

  • Beautiful!
