You can press hold down when you use a lift to not go as high. And the walker is simple, walk up to him till you see the missile appears, stop and jump straight up and hold down so when you land your ducking and the walker jumps over you. Easy. The part that actually ruined my life and makes me hate this level was figuring out I had to press up to "enter" the Falcon to exit the level. I remember killing myself and trying to find a different path through this level because I always hit a dead end

I do agree, someone did have a spike fetish when they designed this level.
