Thomas the Tank HO train Unboxing

Look what the club received everyone!! Thomas the Tank Engine and don't forget about Annie and Clarabell his two coaches!! A member had donated this and we have some plans instore for old Thomas, such as a DCC converstion and a D.I.Y on how to equip Annie and Clarabell would big time high quality sound! All so the trio will be ready for the December Show!!

you can take the roofs off Thomas Annie and Clarabel

not really as the roof is molded on, but Annie and Clarabel come apart at the bottom of their bodies.

@demarm1 This train in the video is a HO, it has molded roofs. The one with removable roofs is the large G scale like my train. The ones that are normally too big to use in a house. Or are used in gardens. I watched an un-boxing another guy did a while back of just such a set and he took the roofs off of Annie and Clarabell.

@penninefilms - New Bachmann Thomas models come in a plastic blister pack - once you open that, it's only good for throwing away.

If you are not familiar with the Bachmann Thomas Engine be sure to get an extra set of drivers at some point. They come as a wheel set from Bachmann, The drive rod ends break at the drive wheel bolts. If you use it at train shows a lot then you will eventually need them. I want a decoder with Thomas sounds Are there any out there? from  Newman
