PART 1:
Galina Vishnevskaya (as Marina Mnishek) and Zoltan Kelemen (as Rangoni) singing duet "Krasóyu svoyéyu plení Samozvántsa (False Dmitri)," Scene 1, Act 3 from "Boris Godunov" by Mussorgsky.
The conductor is von Herbert von Karajan, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, 1970.
A magnificent, dramatic and sensuous scene with some of the most gently swaying,
seductive music ever written. Vishnevskaya is a superb Marina trying to protect
Polish interests in the possible reign of the "False Dimitri." Kelemen makes a
fine partner in this priceless recording. Excellent use of wonderful painting
and a stunning photo of von Karajan! Thank you for posting and sharing!
