This is a video I previewed to do as soon as I read this excellent oneshot "An Eye for an eye" by ReganX.
If you want to read it, click on this following link :

The video is quite established on the oneshot, of course. As the author said in her own description : There is always a price to pay.
The video sums up the story of Anne and Henry, their happy beginning but ending with a tragedy. The arrival of Jane in Henry and Anne's life had an important impact on their relationship. And to rid up of Anne and get the so- wanted heir of England, Henry made her wife killed. First, he didn't care. He thought he was reborn and could enjoy a new life with a obedient and sweet wife. But doubts came and he wondered if Anne was truly guilty. When Jane died, Henry tried to persuade him Anne was not innocent and Jane's death was not a price in order to revenge / punish Anne's. But he stayed tormented as he wondered when God would take his son away from him because of the loss of Anne's baby and whom she miscarried when she saw Henry and Jane embrace. After all, if he was loving and constant everytime, nothing of that would have happened. He was the main responsible for the events which surrounded Anne, Jane and himself.

Voice-overs
Anne : my boy !
Anne : one more chance ! One more
Anne : Your majesty I beseech you !
Henry : I want her dead
Anne : I loved you
Henry : I think you're with child.
Henry : I have a son.
Almoner of Anne : I said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked
Henry : Please God, in your mercy, don't take her away from me. My son needs his mother and I need my Queen.
Anne : it broke my heart to see you love others.

    Thank you very much ;)

  • Fantastic video!! I love Anne Boleyn!!. I don't like Jane Seymour, althouth some people says that she was sweet, god person, and says that Anne Boleyn was a bitch, in my opinion Jane was worse than Anne. She and her family wanted the same that Anne and the Boleyns. I think that the Jane's dead was a punishment for Henry because he killed Anne, Queen for a Queen. He wanted a male heir, and Elizabeth had to lose her mother. Well, Edwar lose his mother too. Great video!! I love it!!

[5] Once again, thank you so much for your comment ! I appreciate that people like you share their opinion and enjoy watching my stuff xD

  • This was amazing! I very much think Anne Boleyn was one of the greatest queens of England. Her death was unjust, and the way that she was treated towards the end in both the show, and history is so unfair to such an important person!

Thank you very much for your comment; i'm glad you liked this video xD Though some people would think otherwise, Anne Boleyn made many things while her short reign. She had her agenda, of course, who hadn't in such a court ? But her motives were also genuine ones, cause she worked hard for the reformation. Though Henry had always the last word, Anne Boleyn made great things and had great ideas... And her death was a murder.

  • I think he would have been a lot happier if he had given Anne another chance.

  • @OMDWhy

In fact, I exactly have the same opinion as yours. They were meant to be together and he stupidly put their story aside to the prospect of an obedient wife and a so desired heir.

[4 Anne Boleyn was certainly naughty and high-tempered but she never MADE something against Catherine or Mary. If that was the case, Chapuys would have been so happy to report it to his master, that could justify his point, this great Chapuys who even wrote a letter in 1534 begging Charles V to declare the war against England, because, in his opinion, english people didn't want the concubine (or the harlot) as queen and to reinstate Mary in the succession.

[3] And though Jane wanted to help her, once Henry told her she was a fool and made it clear to not bore him about that topic, she didn't really MAKE something. Unexpectably, it was Cromwell who helped her (he had his own agenda of course), that's why she was quite grateful to him and that was clear in the letters she sent him. Linda Porter and David Loades who wrote about Mary Tudor's life gave more details about that point. So who is the bitch ?

[2] Perhaps Anne was "wicked" to Mary but she didn't kill her. She offered her at least three times to help her, though I can understand Mary would have never accepted it, of course. But Anne tried. Moreover, when Anne was dead, Mary Tudor received a worse treatment from her own father and it was implicit but obvious enough that she could be declared a treator cause she didn't accept her father as the head of the Church in his own realm.

Thank you so much ! And I cannot agree with you more. I honestly can't stand Jane Seymour and the way she is always depicted. She was such a hypocrit in my opinion. Imploring she was a pure maiden and then, sitting on a king's knee and kissing him... Was it a joke ? Raising doubts in Henry's mind about Anne and the legitimacy of Elizabeth ? Playing with Henry's token of affection in front of Anne ? And people say that JS was a pure and genuine soul... WTF ?
