I think I remember there was a driver with this company who was shot during the truckers strike in the late 70's or early 80's.

U686ST, all of the Red Star guys who came to work for Holland got screwed again with that deal.

Very interesting,I yes drove for transus in 1991 was really good Company.

Holland is still around, they just closed all of the former Red Star terminals, basically everything east of Pittsburgh and Buffalo.
The trailers were being used for storage and were left behind when Holland closed the terminal. Don't know what the story is on them otherwise.

I cant believe it. I worked in this Company from 1990 to 1995 And you are right it was the Worse trucking Company, but also they had the best drivers in town. Mr Hamilton, Johnie, JJ, jose el boricua, Roberto, Stanley, me Juan Garcia and some others I can't remember right now and of Shikita as office clerk....:)

There are 2 old Transus trailers still sitting at the now-closed USF Holland terminal in Baltimore.
