The dialogue in this Italian-dubbed version is much clearer than that of the Spanish original, where the women particularly sometimes mumble quite unintelligibly. That is no reflection on Viggo Mortensen who does a wonderfully convincing job in a language which is not his main one and even manages to shed the Argentinian accent acquired in his youth. A stirring epic not to be missed!
