My magical journey through this incredible place called Chapada Diamantina,National Park (approx 400 kilometres inland from Salvador de Bahia, Brasil)
Chapada Diamantina National Park (approx 400 kilometres inland from Salvador de Bahia) is an incredible place to do trecking for several days, a region of verdant slopes, and red-rock mesas fed by the underground water system, waterfalls and pools. A landscape of mesas, weird and fantastic rock formations, and a system of quartzite caves with crystal clear lakes and underground rivers.
At the beginning of 19th century, a huge vein of diamonds was discovered in a region of unusual rock formations, tablelands, subterranean rivers, waterfalls, valleys and mountains called morros. When word got out, the ensuing diamond rush brought a rush of prospectors that formed the town of Lençóis as a base for explorations into what is now known as the Chapada Diamantina, or Brazil's Lost World.
@WildCityWoman Hi Carly !! My name is Alejandro, I am actually from Argentina. Thanks so much for the nice comment, and I loved the review you made at your website. Actually I am the lucky one who got to be manning the camera, as well as being on camera ( I have a long arm, and can film myself haha ! )
If you can visit Chapada, you wont be dispointed, it is magic at its purest state.
Cheers !!
Alex :)

Kudos to you, Aitzco! And to whoever 'manned' the cam ... I enjoyed this presentation immensely.
If you google Wild City Times, click into the Travel section, you'll see my waterfall presentations on 'Brazil'. You'll see I've included your presentation there.
