2501 Guwahati-New Delhi Sampark Kranti S/F express hauled by twin WDM 2A from New Guwahati shed crossing the Naranarayan setu on the mighty Brahmaputra between Goalpara town and New Bongaigaon , lower Assam.This bridge also hold the record of the second longest bridge in Inda with a total span of 2.3 Kms second to the upper Son bridge in Dehri-on-Sone in Bihar.The bridge links Jogighopa to Pancharatna (in Assam). It has a total length of 2.3km and has 18 spans, each about 120m, with 2 spans of 30.5m. The scenic beauty of the locality is also worth watching

  • this bridge may be the second longest , but is much mor emassive as compared to son bridge which claims to be the longest!!!!!

  • 2:50 to 5:50 almost 3 min ride inside the bridge.

    just superb, u mentioned this is 2nd longest bridge, can i guess the first longest bridge is Orissa mahanadi bridges? if not plz correct me.
