@FlyingGrapes22 Hey man, I would say you should get something with 2 pickups. It's similar to guitar, but not the same. 2 pickups is good, though. Try to get a Fender or Squire-Fender jazz bass. They have 2 pickups and sound amazing. :) If you can only get one, it will still sound okay as long as you know how to play it!

I have 4 guitars and have alotta experience in them but im getting a bass soon to learn and was wondering.. does it matter if i have 2 pickups or 1 on my bass? i know on guitar u have either the neck or bridge pickup. is it the same 4 bass?
