Why can't you get another occupation ? I like that ! Why can't you quit helping to pollute the waters we fish in ? Fisherman don't want another occupation ! I chose this one and im sticking with it until the gov. takes it from me. Maybe by then the economy will fail and you'll be begging fisherman for food where you'll be given a boot across the left side of your face.

@prockdahouse no i dont agree with you,at least you have a fair chance of releasing the fish back alive when using longline,thats not the case when netfishing,because the nets kill everything that gets in it,including seabirds and sometime seals

@prockdahouse youre thinkin of surface longlining for swordfish...and what u said is true for surface longlining but not for cod longlining....its called bottom longlining and the only bycatch is dogfish which are released alive.....u are right about surface longlining but not bottom longlining
