Money cannot buy this song. Its priceless. Put all the money and wealth together and you will not be able to create another Rafi Saab. This song was sang free. Rafi gave back the money to LP with his blessings. God accepted his blessings. And we all know what followed. They became great and famous musicians. This song has a sentimental value in all sense.

God unbelievable. That LP should compose this song . So atypical of LP. The unmistakable touch of Khayyam and a breeze of SJ and a mix of Naushad. Thanks norina66. Rafi. The one mesmerizing word. It seems Rafi praised LP duo to the skies on this song after recording this song.

No matter how many times I listen to this Rafi gem, I lose track of time and everything around me. While L&P are a great musician duo, I absolutely fail to see anything other than Rafi sahab's unmatched rendition in this song. If L&P received any accolades and renown for this creation, they should credit it to the one about whom it is said "inke galey meiN bhagwan rehta hai", or, that when he sings even bhagwan comes down to the earth to listen.

You can only feel Rafi. I don't think there are words to justify this Golden Voice.
