  • you shouldnt be jumping yet if you can barely canter on him.. hes gunna fall

  • laura, sometimes you are a rubish rider and i think that laura rides to much into her fences and she just needs to sit back and wait for the fence to come too you, laura, i hate the way you ride you stuk up little kreeep!! good vid btw, dnt listern to 'petrishkas' comment, she cnt ride !!! xx

  • no wonder the poor thing is bouncing - you're tilting forward with your upper body, which is a "go" position, yet holding onto it's head with really fixed rigid arms, telling it to stop. And then you're bouncing around on his back, rather than sitting on your bum and riding it into a contact, you're just hauling on its mouth.

  • well i dont think your the one riding i can get my answer from her not you so please mind your own buisness ok

  • He would look stiff in his back legs he keeps trying to pace cause hes a standardbred durrr

  • hmm i am quite confused about this vid all you seem to be doing is pushing pushing and then dragging back and you seem to be flapping about alot and when he does jump you just set your hands on his neck you seem to be just winding him up like dragging him into an outlne and tbh i have ridden horses like this and done what you do and just relax on him give him his neck take things slower go back to trotting poles and poles in front of fances to get him thinkin about slow n steady good luck x

  • Hes Gorjiss

    Looks Excited Bout Jumpin :D

    Wuts The Sng?? x

  • Hes so scopeyy!

    You ride him amazingly! xx

  • he looks like he's rushing the fences? maybe he'd benefit from a long grid with small fences? they normally rush because they are panicing

  • I'm glad you said in your description that you haven't jumped him in ages because that's what he needs. I really think he needs to go back to the basics so that he can hold a rhythmic canter and trot a couple times around the ring without breaking. I would also do alot ground rails and raised cavalettis. He's got a fair jump, but he'll be much handier in the jumping ring if you drill on the fundamentals.
