@theciskokidd Agreed, flip my ass. Look at how early his lateral transition is and the amount of lag stored at point of impact. If he was flipping his post-impact position would be his pre-impact one

@theciskokidd Makes me sick! Awesome.

@f0cusen What is meant by efficient is virtually no effort required but produces lots of speed. A flip is completely different to a (hand) release of the club. One is flipping under with the wrists breaking down, one is rolling over the hands right to left (the hands just cock and uncock). Under Foley Tiger is now pulling alot of shots simply because he is both hand and body releasing (ie keeping the hands in front of the body)-his shoulders are simply too far open at impact.
-
@Tourswing a hand release is not the most efficient release, it requires more timing. Look at tiger now he gets his hands infront of his body which means he does not have to flip his hands through the ball anymore, which has improved his ballstriking.

Really interesting to note on the down swing how he PULLS his hips across (no pushing off right foot) and because he does his right foot actually slips to his left a little. His right heel stays very low and only raises because its pulled off the ground by the hips opening (again no pushing off the right foot/leg).

@juicyfruitzy I wouldn't call it a sway-maybe 1 inch of both hips and head.Does it make it harder to return to the same head position at impact-maybe a touch. Does it allow him to transfer weight easily which accounts for about 14% of swing power-yep.You can see because he is engaging his right glute and hip muscles once he has moved to the right it stabilises there-I would say his weight is still definitely inside his right foot (you can see him 'falling' /pulling back to the left very easily.

@f0cusen He simply has a hand release rather than a body release like alot of pros. A hand release is the most efficient release and show he hit a good top of backswing position, so doesnt need to rotate the body hard through impact (which you have to do if you're hands are too deep at the top (compared to biomechanically correct) (eg rory, tiger etc)

@jeffmagic32 use google chrome-I think it seems to block them
I'm so sick of every time I watch a video of a golf swing that annoying pop up ad comes up right during the down swing.
