With a little dedication in teaching my son, l was able to place three cups (red,blue,yellow) in front of him, placing one ball in one (1) cup, switching all 3 around to confuse him, With him (Jonah) chosing the rignt one 3 times in a roll.

it associates red with ball, he's clearly going to keep choosing red no matter what because you don't switch it around. every baby would learn red means ball after the first few times.
