  • Man that's awesome.

i learned this solo and i have a korg X5D too, but my patch isn't so good.

How did you do that sound? Editing combi patch? Banks?

Your help should be great man. I hope you can help me.

    Cheers!

  • You can use the exact same patch. I actually didn't use any of the X5D effects, I had my keyboard hooked up to the computer. I used a slightly modified preset called Wakeman's Cape in the program called Mixcraft. You can download it for free if your interested. Let me know if you need anything else :)

  • Impressive, as usual. What is it your left thumb is doing on the side?

  • Left hand is controlling the pitch bend wheel jigger thing. Makes the sound go wee woo, (what a horrible explanation) lol.

  • Lol, kind of like a whammy bar but on a keyboard?

  • Hmm, I guess you can say that. There's two wheels on mine, pitch bend and modulation wheels. Mod wheel gives vibrato, but the solo sound I used wouldn't let me use the mod wheel, only pitch for some reason, even though you can still see me try and use it anyways in some spots.

  • I'm happy that someone likes this group and want to learn the musics....It's my favourite. Here in Italy there's none who likes Ayreons' songs, so every time I see someone lintening 'em I smile xD Well, you're very good on keyboards, thanks for this video. (I'm sorry for my english, I'm italian so I've to learn it better)

  • Amazing job... well done!

  • @TheDwarvenDwarf if you want to control the mod wheel, you need to assign a function to it :D i would recommend rather than vibrato, why not some lfo control? or something like that, you know, meaning to give it some expression to the lead sound :D

any ways, great performance man! i would like that keyboard too, but i have some M-audio Axiom 61 controlling pc also :D!

  • Nice playing, and brilliant sound too!

    Epic cover.

  • Good JOb!

  • This is awesome. Well played!

  • You are a damn good keyboardist!

  • Nice one Dwarf. 5/5
