@jl5000 Any weapon disarming is risky. Even when well trained, these technique should be use in last resort. e.g. when the aggressor is about to fire.
Also you must consider the fact that if someone get this close with a range weapon, he probably want get compliance more then killing. This is a advantage, he will talk, give order and be otherwise distracted.
