Small painting (8 x 16 inches) which took me a long time to finish, much more than the previous ones. The problem is that it´s too small for painting so many details I think. Anyway I think I am improving little by little :)

  • My favorate part of the painting: the clouds (I'm suprised you can do the clouds this well, since the technique of clouds in chinese painting -leaving spare space as clouds, is quite difficult to master! ) and the waterfall on the right side corner. Your Chinese paintings are very close to the tranditional style. If I can give your some advice, I think you should be bolder with your strokes on mountains, and have more contrast- dark and light, wet and dry stokes (on brush) etc.

  • WOW! You have made my day! :) I am so happy reading your comments! Thanks for your encouragement and for your compliments. It gives me energy to paint again (I have hardly painted lately cause I have a lot of work). I will try to write my name in chinese and to use the sealchops. Thanks a lot for your advice, I will try to be bolder with my strokes. Thanks again :) Kisses from Spain
