I would salute to Hemant Kumar´s courageous step to enter into singing arena. He knew exactly that his voice was just as normal as one could imagine. What persuaded him to proceed because of his bank with full of compositions. And so much so, Lata Mangeshkar, an authority and stablished singer at that time could not refuse him. What a legend? He has scored beautiful duets with this nightingale.This particular song is one of them. It is pleasure to listen to such great performer.(19 02 2011)

lost in the old days of my childhood. where those composers have gone giving us such butiful gems. a nostalgia of 50s was a gr8 gift 4 the future generations. hatsoff 2 SJ hemantda lataji. evergreen devanand n usha kiran in the frame look gigantically butiful n enterprising.

All may not be lost, but most of it is lost. These days the lyrics (bol) are crappy, pseudo rap, pseudo hip hop, pseudi rock, tunes lifted from popular western charts and numbers, some form Paksitani singers and some form Mid Eastern singers, bollywood music is one giant Karaoke, rip off machine.
No one composes music these days. it is rip and karaoke.
