May 17th 2007 was a historic day in the campaign against bullfighting. It was the day anti-bullfighting campaigners from all over the world came together to voice the opposition of the world's majority to the barbaric blood sport of bullfighting. This short video documents our collective protest outside a bullring in Lisbon from where the message was loud and clear: bullfighting is unacceptable in a modern world and it will be banned.

  • Bullfighting is brutal for animals and people,

this is not necessary for entertainment!

the pain, the blood and the gore of this show is unnecessary for our generation!

and its not only the bullfighting!!!

all "sports" or "shows" that involving animals vs Man sufering or bleeding in any way, should be banned from the world,

we don't need traditions like this!

Movies, Computer Games or any other virtual activity have nothing to do with reality!

    Human VS Animal isn't right!!

  • BAN BULL FIGHTING!!

  • bullfighting is so cruel, so repulsive.....i cannot believe it is going on to this very day. it is high time to ban this evil "sport" worldwide. spain seems like a lovely place but i would not be willing to visit there unless they banned bullfighting.

  • @0909masako - Will do!

  • If you are AGAINST BULLFIGHTS, there is an ongoing petition addressed to the president of Spain to abolish them.

Google: help ban bullfighting-the petition site

ADD YOUR VOICE AND SPREAD THE WORD, IT DOESN'T MATTER YOUR NATIONALITY!

    Thanks a lot!

  • This tradition has been going on since the 13th century and they are proud to say that.....Is as if American settlers kept the tradition of tying a bear to a tree and see how dogs kill him.....Stop animal cruelty....Sadly there are a lot of greedy people that benefit from this torture in Spain.

  • Some traditions don't have te reason to exist...even with internet, games, whatever people have fun with animal suffering...some people don't develop their insignificant brains
