yes, it is too loud. He drowns out the entire rest of the band. He's certainly suffering from hearing loss.

that drummer needs to quiet the hell down, jeez. Its not even technical so why is he playing so loud? I mean I dont know what it sounded like there...prolly amazing, but in this video that drummer needs to pipe down.

Vinnie Colaiuta is one of the best jazz/rock drummers in the world...I suspect the camcorder mic picks up more of the higher frequencies...I don't think it is too loud
