Here we are... Whitefish Railyards. The Morning Empire Builder has slowed her speed, heading through the yard and passing Westbound Burlington Northern 97 Intermodal and Local Eastbound 19. The Eastbound Local will wait 15 minutes past the Empire Builder's Departure before making routine stops on the way to Java. A Lone F45 and GP50 w/ it's Jordan Spread wait on their sidings for the day's activities.

The Cab Units (F9A&B) Are Freeware. The SD45 Hustle Muscle and Morrison Knudson, GP38-2 White Face and Logo Nose are Reskins of Streamlines BN Engine Pack Payware. The Standard SD45, SD40-2, GP50, F45, B30-7A, and GP38-2 are Streamlines BN Engine Pack Payware. The Passenger Coaches are 4 Payware Sets from Valley Pass (BLW/ZT), the Great Northern hopper cars are Valley Pass Payware (BLW/ZT), the intermodal train's rolling stock is freeware Intermodal and Autocarrier packs. The Local train's remaining rolling stock are reskins of the stock MSTS Equipment. The Jordan Spreader is Freeware.

I corrected the positioning of the trains being past their signal points. When it's red, they shouldn't be past it especially when the priority is the Passenger Train.

  • Okay for those who ask. In Route Editor, I created a new generic point A to point B Activity. On the side tracks I right clicked and added each consist to the tracks manually. The F45 has her own consist file so I could get her on the tracks.

  • I work with what I got xD Although no weirder then microsoft's generic attempt at poor rolling stock haha

  • little bit of a weird mix here, a BN gp50, b30-7 b-unit and double stacks being passed by an f unit lol great traffic jam though....

  • @TRAVAM91 But I will say, what inspired the F Unit overtaking my double stacks was an old video someone shot in 1995 onboard the Nebraska Zephyr on her way down to Galesburg Railroad Days. Silver Pilot (E5) was given clearance to overtake a Union Pacific Stack train. I always thought that was so cool.

its a great video... i love having meets in the sim. was it hard to make those AI trains stop or did you create an activity and have them placed there in dummy form?

  • @TRAVAM91 I used a dummy setup. I'm not good with activity editor beyond that. I really wanted them there for effect. Turned out pretty good. Working on a coal drag soon to throw into the mix.
